The Association viz., "NIARAS MUMBAI - The New India Assurance Retirees' Association Mumbai" came into being on 16.12.2019 consequent upon the decision taken at the NFGIE central working committee(CWC) meeting held in October 2019 to form an association at Mumbai for the purpose of lending a helping hand to the retired new Indians especially of our union-NFGIE in matters related to pension / family pension, group medicliam and other welfare related issues.

The "NIARAS Mumbai" was formally inaugrated at the hands of general secretary Shri P.S.Bajpai on 16.12.2019 at the NFGIE union office.
